Aisling founded Beechmount Art Studio in 2014 to fulfill a desire to create a positive and welcoming space where everyone can explore their creative talents, regardless of their level of ability.
Aisling graduated from the Limerick School of Art & Design with a BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting & Art History. Her first love is oil painting and portraiture and has received numerous awards & acclaim for her past work before going on to teach with the GRETB before establishing the studio.
While still teaching, she has delved more into the business side of creative entrepreneurship creating a second business of Paintclub, a 'painting & cocktail' events company, which furthers her belief that 'painting & creating is for everyone, everywhere'.
Kathy is a Galway native who graduated from The National College in Art And Design Dublin with a BA in Fine Art Print and Art History. She then went on to complete a H.Dip in Arts Administration in N.U.I.G. before returning to her first love painting. Kathy is a hugely respected artist in her own right and her work has been shown in galleries throughout the country including the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin. Kathy's works in various media from acrylic to charcoal, print and inks, but her most preferred form of expression is watercolour. "I love the feminine qualities of watercolour, its a very quick and rewarding medium to use."
Lorraine is originally from Keady, Co. Armagh and graduated from the University of Ulster with an Honours Degree in Fine Art & Design. After pursuing a career in Design, Lorraine returned to her first love of painting and has established herself as a talented and much sought after painter in the West of Ireland while exhibiting widely throughout the country.
Lorraine's favourite medium to work with is acrylics and she has developed a unique technique and style in this medium. A talented musician to boot, there is no end to her talents.
